Zinfandel Food and Wine Bistro, located inside the ancient walls of Diocletian’s palace, is owned by Maria Galic. Centered in the heart of Split, Croatia, the historic fortress in which it resides was originally built in the third century, AD. Zinfandel builds on this storied past, offering a gastronomic environment imbued with history and grandeur. The space features a friendly and bright refuge from the Mediterranean sun, where its patrons can imbibe local indigenous wines and dine on elevated Dalmatian-inspired seasonal fare created daily by our chefs.

We have understood from the day we opened that we are part of the fabric of the city, and we have always embraced being quintessentially Dalmatian.

Our restaurant, with a striking central bar and informal seating, is the perfect spot to enjoy our seasonal menu at any time of the day. Zinfandel is comfortable and relaxed and accepts all dress codes (except bathing suits, please).
